I am an architect who is more oriented towards technical and organizational parts of the discipline. I focus my studies on three aspects of the industry which are not widely covered in the traditional education of architecture. Those are building information modelling (BIM); usage of algorithms in design; project management.
I have spent a huge amount of extracurricular time for investigating these three topics and luckily had the chance to apply all the knowledge gained.
Shortly after starting a job in an architectural firm I became the BIM manager of the company. Later on, I started a training course of BIM which after a few cycles of expansion became the first authorized school of GRAPHISOFT company in the region of Caucasus. I have trained many students and since then teaching is an inseparable part of my profession.
I have studied programming which enlarged the possibilities in the profession of architecture and brought a new perspective to it. Now I’m highly skilled in using algorithms for solving architectural problems. This includes parametric design, simulation, optimization and much more.
